Chris LaBruna joined Trust Science as a Senior Advisor to the CEO and is now Chief Revenue Officer. Chris is a software industry veteran with more than 25 years of leadership experience at some of the world’s most recognized software companies including Oracle, Hyperion Solutions, SAP BusinessObjects and IBM. Most recently Chris has been working with early stage SaaS companies helping them raise capital, grow and scale. He also provides expert advice to Private Equity firms during the acquisition evaluation process as well as post-acquisition. Previously Chris was Chief Revenue Officer at Host Analytics (recently purchased by Vector Capital) where he accelerated revenue growth by driving the integration and alignment between marketing, sales, customer support, pricing, and revenue management. Before Host Chris was Chief Revenue officer at Saama Technologies where he built their global sales and marketing footprint and helped them achieve record funding. Chris has vast knowledge and go to market experience at enterprise software and SaaS companies, and has a proven track record for consistently driving market leading growth rates.
Earlier in his career, he spent seven years at Oracle, having joined the company through its acquisition of Hyperion Solutions. During his tenure at Oracle, Chris served in various sales leadership capacities including Vice President for the West and Central Regions, where he spearheaded aggressive growth for Oracle’s Hyperion EPM and Business Intelligence products. At Hyperion Solutions Chris led the Western U.S. and Latin America sales efforts where both geographies experienced tremendous growth, contributing to the $3.2B valuation at the time Hyperion was acquired by Oracle in 2007.
Chris also served as Vice President of Sales for the Western Region at SAP Business Objects and was a Business Unit Executive at IBM.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from New York University and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.
